Academics
I am doing visual communication course the teaching method of each teacher is different and thoughtful yet few don't really do there homework for teaching the students.
The syllabus is updated so is the curriculum we do get to explore and talk to our staffs on how and what should we do after this course the staffs are really friendly compared to any other department.
College Infra
Viscom department has good labs where we get hands on experience on audio production and even got a photograph and green mat studio where you get to experience and practice in latest tech stuffs related to the course and computer lab as well
Other than the course the college is completely clean even in rainy days it looks really nice with all the trees around clean and neat has a huge library where you might or might not find what you need food canteen food is great but would recommend to bring your own food class rooms are clean and well
Campus Life
College campus is really nice with all green trees and sports activities are really good got rock climbing and basketball court badminton court tennis court and with all this we can use cycle from on block to another for class they provide cycle the flaw would be lift where huge floors we have to wait in huge line and wait but yet it's finee the campus is cleannn got dustbin in needed places when it comes to emergency they got two ambulance and there is a huge hospital near the college so if any emergency it's close by to taken care of the staffs are friendly except for few where they come to teach but fail in that too students are friendly same as staff few who might want to avoid overall it's 7/10
Placements
Since I am in 2 nd year I don't know yet but through placements my seniors have gone to good places like news channels and more with 40k salary I would say studying viscom and expecting placement is not that best you rather do it on your own but if you need through placements you can get help from staff they will help you out
Value For Money
It's 90k per year
I think it's worth it yet not worth cause we do learn what is viscom and more things through our staffs who are really good yet not because there are common subjects which is waste of time we can rather concentrate in our major subject and our course then doing works in common subjects

When I talk about academics it was decent enough. Teachers were paying attention to student when it comes to doubts and teaching with practical examples which was easy to understand and cope up with the academics.
College Infra
HITS infrastructure is amazing it is very huge and you get that experience every time you step inside it.As it's an engineering college there are so many big dummy planes in the campus to make it attractive.
Placements
HITS also has good placement with good packages. Companies like Eurofins, TCS, IBM, WIPRO, INFOSYS and Amazon.
As I have seen my seniors getting placed into all of those companies with good packages of 8 LPA - 15 LPA.

Hindustan University Chennai boy's hostel fees?

A boys hostel and a girls hostel, hostel quality is nice, per annum hostel fees for boys is around 65k and for girls around 85K.
Located on the College campus, the Hostel is the centre of academic, social and cultural activities. The College provides residential facilities for about two hundred undergraduate and postgraduate male students.
