24 Months- The MSW programme at HITS is focused on understanding the complexities of modern social life through the application of advanced social work theories and methods within an interdisciplinary framework building upon the traditions of the discipline.
- Students are encouraged to acquire critical reading, theoretical insights and research skills through rigorous training.
- The research areas undertaken by students and faculty members cover wide range of issues of public concern like the effects of economic development on society and culture, problems of weaker sections, gender and society, disaster management, environmental issues, social movements, minority studies, etc.
