Academics
The academics at IIM Kashipur are quite good, with a practical approach to learning. The faculty is knowledgeable and generally supportive, and classes involve a mix of discussions, presentations, case studies, and projects. The MBA curriculum can be demanding at times, but it helps build a strong understanding of management concepts and prepares students for the corporate environment.
College Infra
The infrastructure at IIM Kashipur is quite impressive. The campus is spacious, clean, and surrounded by greenery, which gives it a peaceful and refreshing feel. The classrooms are well-equipped, and the library, hostels, sports facilities, and common areas are properly maintained. The campus also has a modern look with good facilities for students. Overall, the infrastructure makes the college environment comfortable and enjoyable.
Placements
The placements at IIM Kashipur are quite good, with opportunities across consulting, finance, IT, analytics, marketing, and general management. In the 2025 placement season, the highest package was ₹33.12 LPA, while the average package was ₹14.95 LPA. Academics are quite rigorous and focus on case studies, presentations, and group work. The faculty is knowledgeable but not as illustrious as some of the older IIMs. It depends a lot on individual involvement.

The infrastructure is quite modern and in great condition. Classrooms are tech-enabled smart classrooms, and hostels are quite comfortable. It is not as huge as some of the older IIMs, but you have access to everything you need.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite lively with events and activities happening frequently.
Placements
Placements are quite decent for a new IIM. The average package is around 12-15 LPA. Most of the jobs are in marketing, HR, and analytics. The best companies are few and far between, and individual performance is key.

Academics
The professors at IIM Kashipur have impressive resumes and are very approachable. The majority of them have the necessary experience in business and are also doing research, which ultimately helps students to understand the concepts in theory and see how they can be applied to the real world.
College Infra
Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and there are several cafeterias providing different kinds of food, some of which are open until midnight. Laboratories along with computer facilities are up to date and adequate for the entire curriculum.
Placements
The average salary is usually in the range of 25-30 lakhs per annum, and the highest salaries can be more than 45 lakhs per annum. Several companies like Deloitte, Bain & Company, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Hindustan Unilever are the major recruiters from the campus. The placement cell is very active as they always have workshops, mock interviews, and networking events going on to help students be prepared for the off-campus and also on-campus opportunities.
