You have a decent academic records. Scoring above 85 percentile will definitely assure you a call from IIM Shillong.

As you know the aggregate marks list made for calling students for interview round is made on various parameters like 10th, 12th, graduation marks, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender diversity. So you also stand a chance to get a call for interview fron IIM Shillong with 80+ percentile but to convert the call and asking an assured call aim for 85+ percentile.

After your interview round the final list is made on the basis of WSAT, PI and absolute CAT marks.

With a score of 85+ percentile will also open up a space for getting a call from IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow and IIM Indore (Indore gives way more weightage to 10th and 12th marks than CAT marks) and of course you will get a call from New IIMs, baby IIMs.

It also depends upon the exams you appear for. If you plan to get into IIM then CAT is must and if you are looking for simpler management exams then you can focus on GMAT, MAT. They can help you to get into good colleges but if you get in top percentile.
