If you want to apply for admission to BS-MS degree in IISER through SCB channel in the year 2021 you must have passed 10+2 in the year 2020 or 2021 with Science stream from a recognised board. Also you must have studied Mathematics subject in 10+2 level. The admission will be based on marks scored in the qualifying examination. The cut off score for each board will be specified. If you haven't studied Mathematics in 10+2 level you are not eligible to apply for admission. Please read the FAQs using the link below

No the admissions in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali does not give admissions on the basis of JEE main. There are three channels of admissions in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali and on of the way of admission is JEE Advanced not JEE Main. On the basis of JEE Advanced score you can get admission in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali. Candidates have to appear for JEE Advanced and counselling followed by it.

To take admission in IISER you need a minimum percentage of 75 percent.This percentage as mentioned is for the general category of students.For reserved category this percentage is relaxed to 65 percentage.IISER is one of the prestigious institution and there is quite often a great competition in order to get a seat.

No, there is no option like this. IISER takes admission for PhD through GATE or JEST Examination. And also IISER only takes BS-MS for astrophysics on the basis of JEE Advanced, KVPY, SCB only.

If you want to study MS Astrophysics then you can checkout for Indian Institute for Astrophysics.

IISER Only gives the opportunity of direct admission to those students who have completed BS-MS from their institute.

See iiser Offers bs-ms dual course, admission is based on kvpy or scb channel or jee advance test scores/ however till now the notifications has not released yet. so dont panic. due to covid 19 situation it may delay. so keep preparing, revise the syllabus, if you have any other exam in coming months also prepare for it.

IISER takes admission to MS Astrophysics based on the past academic records. IISER also gives admission to students on the basis of its own aptitude test for science stream students who pass class 12 with marks equal or above the cut off percentage. The eligiblity criteria of marks are Students with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (overall percentage)or CGPA 6 out of 10-point scale (55% or equivalent CGPA in aggregate for SC/ST and PD candidates) in B.Sc.

Unfortunately IISER only provides dual degree BS-MS and you can only go for Phd through different examinations like CSIR-UGC NET/ JEST/ NBHM/GATE/ JGEEBILS/ INSPIRE Ph.D. Scholarship.

So you can apply for GATE after your MS to get admission in this college.

If you are already admission though PWD category in IISER college then your admission process is over.. You are student of in this college. PWD category varified through the documents of yours.. So it's all ready done. No more physical check up are conduct again.. but sometimes any medical check up college are occurred for all students then your check up also conduct.

No. IISERs  provide pure computer engineering courses. They provide pure science institutes. BS-MS courses are offered by them. The curriculum of BS-MS program in engineering disciplines is interdisciplinary in nature - which allows the graduates to pursue careers in the fields that lie at the interfaces between natural and applied sciences. Only IISER Bhopal has a department of EECS (Electrical Engg & Computer Science), where students can get a 4 yrs BS or a 5 yrs BS-MS (Dual Degree).
