Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.

The B.Tech program aims at providing a strong foundation in theoretical, practical and design aspects of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The curriculum covers all areas of electronics and communication engineering under the broad categories of electronic circuits, electronic devices, signal processing and communication. The syllabus comprises of theory and laboratory courses under these categories. The theory course can be either a core or an elective course. Each theory course has a laboratory component, which provides a balanced mix of quality teaching of theoretical concepts and experimental verification of the learnt concepts.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be the final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or in a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the AIU.
H.S.C. vocational examination. A Diploma recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or a State Board of Technical Education of at least 3 years duration.

Admission Details

Students are selected for admission to the above programmes through Joint Entrance Examination for IITs (IIT-JEE-Advance).

College Infrastructure

It has all the facilities those should be available in a hostel but some of them are not in good condition like of new IITs. In classes and lecture halls etc. all are well Air conditioned and has one projector with screen and all are in good condition. Yeah, hygiene is more important thing in iit Guwahati and taken care of it.

It's campus is best in india

The campus life is best. PLACEMENTs are also good as well Academics is good.And it's the value for money in all aspects and u should do hard work to get this college becoz I require so much of hard work to achieve this college so clear advanced and Come come come
