MS and Ph.D Electronics and Electrical Engineering at IIT Guwahati (IITG) Offline Course

To apply for admission to the Dual M.S.(Engineering)+Ph.D. in EEE program offered by the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, a candidate must satisfy the following criteria:

1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum CPI of 7.0 out of 10 or minimum 70 of marks.
2. Having valid GATE score in any GATE Examination Paper

The requirement of valid GATE score is exempted for the Candidates with qualifying degree as Bachelors' (B.Tech./B.Des.) degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with minimum CPI of 8.0 in a 10-point scale.

Relaxation for SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates

The CPI or percentage marks in above mentioned eligibility requirements will be relaxed by 0.5 CPI or by 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. That is, the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates should have a minimum CPI of 6.5 out of 10 or minimum 65% of marks in their qualifying degree.
