72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
(i) Master’s degree in Civil Engg. / Water Resources Development / Hydrology.
(ii) Master’s degree in Agricultural Engg. / Environmental Engg. /Instrumentation / water use management
(iii) M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology / Geophysics / Soil Science / Forestry or natural Resources/ Chemistry / Meteorology / Atmospheric Physics /Mathematics / Nuclear Physics & Environmental Sciences.
(iv) M.Sc. Hydrology with Mathematics at Bachelor’s level.
