24 MonthsThis program builds on traditional Mechanical Engineering undergraduate education and equips students with the latest technical know-how in a wide range of topics related to industrial infrastructure. The curriculum has been designed with a focus on infrastructure and management of infrastructure, in line with the institute objectives. Students graduating from this program will be well placed for a career of their choice – whether in the industry or for further research leading to a doctoral degree and subsequent industry/academia career.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. /B.Tech. or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST/SEBC applicants). Students whose results are awaited for the final Semester can also apply. However, their final admission is subjected to submission of final Semester marks/grades by 31st July.
For Non-GATE qualified applicants, the eligibility criteria mentioned above is a minimum and the individual disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories would be eligible for relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.
Admission Details
The total sanctioned intake will be filled in the following manner:
A. Seats shall be filled up, based on the applications received on the basis of GATE score and ranks.
B. Seats remaining vacant, after above will be filled based on the written test/computer-based MCQ test conducted at the Institute.
