Master of Population Studies (M.P.S.) is a full-time one-year postgraduate programme and it is offered by International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai.
The admission to M.P.S. course is through a two-stage process: (i) Online Test, (ii)
a Personal Interview.
Candidates having MA/MSc. degree
(passed/appearing) in Anthropology, Bio-statistics, Development Studies, Economics, Geography,
Health Statistics, Mathematics, Political Science, Population Education, Psychology, Rural
Development, Social Work, Sociology, and Statistics from a recognized university in India or abroad
with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks/equivalent grade. Candidates having Master degree, other
than subjects specified above and having at least two years of experience in Population and Health a related field is also eligible to apply. Eligible foreign candidates can also apply for admission provided
if they secure financial support from any outside agency.
