My College infrastructure is quite good as compare to other college. Moreover it has all the necessary facilities and equipment in the classroom for studies. College is quite well maintained. The food provided in the canteen is quite Hygienic.
In terms of academics it is one of the best college in terms of academics. Its not easy to get admission in this college. Curriculum is quite modified and updated regularly .Yes this course makes me job ready.
Placements are also very good in the college. Placement is quite active in this college.Average salary is provided by the company's are upto 5-6 lakh per year which i think is quite good. Highest salary can go upto 15 lakh per year .
It was my choice to get admitted to this college and fees was not a matter because is its one of the best college out there and it very difficult to get admission in this college you have to work alot.
Students who get admission in this college are quite studious and there is not such campus life in this but i have found quite good friends here and teachers are also quite supportive in this college.
Its Not every ones cup of tea
College infrastructure is quite good. Whole college is wifi supportable. College has all necessary things like library, reading room, and central big library and all type of laboratories and has sports complex too which is really very big and all are well maintained.
Teachers are really good but i think curriculum must be updated time to time. Quality of teaching is good in our college but some teachers are not worth it. We are studying electrical engineering in our course.
In Computer science branch Placement is really good but in other branches these are fine. Our college had highest salary package of 80 lakhs per year which was taken by a mechanical polytechnic student.
College fees is very low and really worth it.
Students can engage in various activities in fest and in Jamia's famous fair called Talibi Mela.
Our college have own hospital, stadium for sports, and separate building for all departments and our college have all type of equipments. Our college have open wifi in campus and smart classes and they are well maintained
I m studying diploma engineering the teachers are good here and very experienced they are they teach good and they have good knowledge to share theirs knowledge.so we have good mentor who teaches good theory as well as practical.
Placement are not too good for diploma engineering but for others faculties it's good . Some departments like MSW,Mass Media they have 100% placement. In our college the highest package offered is 77 lakhs per annum.
I paid 7k per annum only which is very cheaper than other private colleges
Awesome ambiance
Overall it's good
The college has an excellent infrastructure. It has well-maintained libraries, canteens, and an awesome sport center. The hostels are also pretty well-maintained and very cheap. The college campus is very spacious, clean and green.
The academics is good. There are some excellent professors with years of teaching and research experience and very in-depth knowledge. But the syllabus is a little old and not regularly updated. That puts a dent in the overall teaching experience.
The placements in CS branch have always been very good. But besides that, in-campus for other branches have always lacked a little. Given the new leadership, it was improving but with the coronavirus lockdown, it's hard to give an accurate answer.
The college is well equipped and infrastructure is pretty descent. Talking about library it's well equipped with all books and journals. The campus is neat and clean. As far as engineering faculty is concern the classrooms are quite good and from second year onwards they all are fully air conditioned though some of first year are also. Hostel is very cheap to afford but is difficult to get into. Wifi is accessible from entire campus. Sports complex is well maintained.
Considering academics, the syllabus seems to be updated but as far as know. Classes are regular but teaching quality is average. Apart from daily classes you need to have some industrial exposure for being job ready for which college is ready to help.
The most discussed part of a college is placement. The placements are good for computer science following electronics and communication. The last highest off campus was 45lac for cse and on campus was between 20lac. Placement of mechanical, civil and electrical are low.
One thing will i like most about this university is it's fees structure. Being a central University it's quite affordable for everyone. Comparing the facilities provided and fees paid it's a win win situation for students.
Talking about the location the campus is located in jamia nagar south Delhi with the road towards kalindi kunj dividing it into two parts. Campus life is good. The support staff is helpful until you are interacting with them politely. And yes never mess with the guards present on the campus. Students can be part of various clubs including debating, business.etc. In free time visiting sports complex is the best.
The infrastructure of University is good as compared to other central university.Campus is fully equipped with WiFi facility. The Centrally Library is fully air-conditioned.The whole campus is covered with tree giving a lush green environment to the students. classroom are not that good as compared to smart classes of private colleges. The University has one of the best sports complex in Delhi. There are dozens of canteens around the campus which are very much pocket friendly.
The professors here are highly qualified because it is one of the best university of India. The teachers are really helpful, they are always standing with us for any kind of help either it's academic or any other social problems .But According to me the syllabus studied here is too outdated,it needs to be updated according to advancement in the modern world.
The placements in my university is pretty good. Not all the department offers placement to the students. Placement is given to majority of the students of Management courses like MBA and Mass Communication. Students of MCA BTech,MSW,HRM &MBA gets the highest and best placement.
I think studying in Jamia is 200% Value for money. fee structure of most of courses is very low just because it is central university.
The best part of my College is it's a University and it has a huge campus where we can explore thousands of different activities going around the year. Centrally located in the Delhi accessible to the whole Delhi. I will give 10 out of 10 to the campus life of my College.
Getting admission here is not that easy. You have to crack the entrance exam.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and labs are well equipped with the latest instruments. All the departments including the hostels are facilitated with hi speed wifi. The environment of the campus is well maintained and is always clean.
I am pursuing B.Tech(ECE) because in the coming years technology will play a major role in our lives and we should be aware of it and be updated with the advancements in it. The quality of teaching is good. The teachers are helpful and guide us in every aspect of our lives. The curriculum is updated and makes us job ready.
Placements have been good in our college and majority of the students get placed. This year the highest salary was around 40lacs per annum and it was from CSE department. Average salary was around 8-10lacs per annum.
My course costs 10000 rupees per annum. Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth because the faculty is amazing labs are outstanding and our alumni are also there to guide us.
It is an amazing campus with greenery everywhere. The environment is so soothing. The interaction between the students and teachers is good. The location is at a good spot for any form of communication. It is safe with the hospitals at a reachable distance.Emergencies are handled well.
The labs, classrooms are well equiped with aal the latest technologies. There are many libraries within the campus for different departments.Their is wifi connectivity availability all over the campus. The college has very fine infrastructure, facilitiees, and also different valuable equipments
Currently pursuing engineering. It’s one of the best central universities in India. There are various intership programmes held for graduate and under graduate students. The quality of teaching is absolutely excellent .Professors are very consious and punctual of their task.
A lot of companies visit the campus and recruit a lot of students based on their technical abilities.Students get good packages .Almost 80% of the students get placement here.last year the highest package Came to my branch itself
The yearly fees for each course is very low compared to other government colleges.
The life on campus is amazing
College Infrastructure is pretty good. An outstanding Sports Complex adds to its beauty. 3 libraries within the campus ensure that students get enough resources to study. The campus spreads to a very large area.
An academic system which falls nothing short in comparison to the NITs. Well equipped labs and highly experienced professors are something you can be proud of. Being a Central University, Jamia ensures that it provides high quality education
Recent years' placements are for all to see. Many MNCs visit the campus annually and select many students to work for them. Many companies acknowledge the quality education, the college provides and hence love to recruit its students.
The biggest perk of this college is its fee structure. While the fees is so less, it doesn't compromise with the value it provides
You're gonna enjoy your college life to the fullest here. Located in the National capital, the college helps to make your stressful life a little easier
I am a very proud student of this college
The college infrastructure is top class with all the necessary facilities duly available. The classrooms are well-equipped and air conditioned, with smart boards installed. But the smart boards are often not utilized. The canteen is affordable with hygienic food. Zakir Hussain is our library which has an amazing and diverse collection of books. The WiFi facility is not available throughout the campus and there are network issues. The laboratories have necessary equipment and apparatus.
I pursued B.Com (H) from JMI which was a wonderful experience. The teachers were highly supportive and experienced. The curriculum, though, was not updated and did not take the necessary developments into account, hence not fully making a student job-ready. The internal processes were smooth and there were hardly any attendance issue in the college. There are some IITs' professors who used to pay visits to JMI and conducting interactive sessions.
The placements of some science courses was sound and decent like CS. But majorly, placement drive was not up to the mark, as it did not have big established companies visiting our campus. There was no active placement cell for jobs and internships which made things all the way tougher for students as it was to difficult to find jobs off-campus. Hence, the college wasn't supportive as much as other DU colleges. The average package was also very low.
The fee structure for nearly all the Undergraduate courses was low, and hence affordable and worth every penny. The basic amenities were available in the college and there were many activities to engage in apart from academics making JMI worth an investment. It might not be a very good option for job-oriented people as jobs are not guaranteed.
The campus is located at a developed place of Okhla and the jamians experience a great ambience with a diverse crowd. The college has various societies to engage in, with some helping students to develop their skills in extra-curricular activities like music, dance and theater. Societies like the Enactus are active and striving to uplift the society and resolve the concerns. There is a well-established medical room to handle emergencies;there are spacious lawns to chill with friends after classes.
Since JMI is a Muslim- based institution, thus 30% of the seats is reserved for Muslims in every course, which is personally a negative point. But nonetheless, there are many activities and the college is a fun place to be. The sports is a major highlight of the college.

With 81.69 percentile in JEE Main under the General EWS category, getting ECE in JMI, AMU, JNU, or NIT Hamirpur would be quite difficult. For these institutes, the cutoff for ECE usually stays higher, often above 90–95 percentile for EWS candidates. JMI and AMU tend to have competitive cutoffs because of limited seats, while JNU and NIT Hamirpur also require a higher percentile. However, you still have good chances in other NITs, IIITs, or state-level colleges where the cutoff percentile is comparatively lower.
