JIPMER Internal seats counselling is for students who have a domicile of Union Territory of Puducherry. If you have a domicile of Puducherry, then only you are eligible for the Internal seats otherwise you can just apply for the OPEN seats. JIPMER OPEN SEATS has a total of 179

There are 6 seats reserved for NRI/ OCI in JIPMER (5 seats in Puducherry campus & 1 seat in Karaikal campus). You should write the entrance exam along with every other candidate; there will be a separate ranking list for NRI candidates. Admission will be based on the ranking list.
