For bsc courses jipmer conduct their own entrance exam .
There is online registration for applying to bsc neuroscience,  jipmer .

Eligibility for bsc neuroscience - Candidates who have completed class xii with minimum aggregate marks of 45 % in science stream  are eligible with physics,  chemistry,  zoology and botany subjects .

With neet score of 700 marks you will definitely get a medical seat in jipmer puducherry.

On the basis of previous year's analysis , neet cut off rank for mbbs at jipmer was rank 277 in first round and 60 in round 2 for general category candidate. In terms of score , previous year's cut off for mbbs in jipmer  puducherry  was 696 +.

The entrance exam for ug mbbs is Neet ug.

Previously JIPMER entrance exam was there for admission  to mbbs or medical  courses . It is now replaced with neet ug.

Jawaharlal Institute of post graduate medical education and research was established in 1956.

Jipmer is ranked number 6 among the top medicsl colleges. It is NMC, INC approved.

The college offers 101 courses at ug and pg level.

For mbbs seat , the candidate must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics,  chemistry and biology. The candidate has to qualify neet.

Cut off neet ug marks jipmer in 2024 can not be estimated now. As cut off changes every year. It mau increase this year because of the increasing competition.

In 2023 neet off jipmer for mbbs - it closed at 277.

In 2022 neet cut off mbbs was 302

In 2021 closing neet at jipmer ( mbbs) was 231.

Yes, JIPMER does have an NRI quota. Out of 150 available MBBS seats at JIPMER, 5 are specifically earmarked for NRI/OCI applicants under a self-financing arrangement with a total price of US $75,000 payable in one lump sum.

Candidates can apply under the NRI quota for MBBS admission in government medical institutions and deemed universities during the NEET-UG counselling. Private medical institutions exclusively give NRI quota seats at the state level.

To appear in NEET UG, you most score following marks in 12th standard -:
1- more than 50% aggregate in PCB for UR
2- more than 40% aggregate in PCB for OBC/SC/ST


As u have more than 40% aggregate in Physics, chemistry and biology and you belong from SC , you are eligible for neet and you can get admission in any medical College in India (which includes JIPMER as well) on the basis of your neet score.

But  for admission in AIIMS, one need to score above 50% aggregate in PCB in 12th standard if he/she belongs from SC category. So unfortunately you can't get admission in AIIMS as your score is less than the qualification score.

When we look into previous year sources 680+ is the minimum mark required for getting admission in jipmer puduchery. This cut off can vary as it depends on level of exam ,number of candidates appeared and number of seats available.
