The admission to PG courses in PGI Chandigarh and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research takes place through two different entrance exams. The admission to MDS course in PGI Chandigarh takes place through the PGIMER PG Entrance test and for admission to JIPMER, JIPMER PG entrance test is conducted. Hello

This year there is only entrance examination for medical colleges that will be conducted by National testing agency (NTA) that is NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). It will include all the medical colleges including AIIMSand JIPMER.

Hope it helps

Hi Maya

Yes , both the aiims mbbs and Jipmer mbbs entrance examination has been scrapped off dear.

And now both of these examinations has been merged with neet examination making the neet examination to be the single gateway to all the medical colleges of India including all the aiims and Jipmer as well.

So , even if you want to get into aiims or jipmer, you need to write neet examination . If you have still not applied for neet then you should hurry as the last date to apply for NEET is 6th January 2020.

I hope that it helps you. .

For your neet preparation, you can use our neet companion at nominal charge with money back guarantee, for details go through :-
