The B.Sc Computer Science programme is designed to develop analytical, computational thinking and problemsolving skills in design, development and implementation of computer software / hardware. It covers the foundation and core courses of computer science, mathematics and emerging software tools and state of the art computer laboratories. Projects, summer training and internship will develop the communication, problem solving, team work and leadership skills to meet the requirement of the industries/organizations. After successful completion of the programme, students will be capable of starting a career as an entrepreneur or may join various Software Industries as Software Engineer, Data Scientist, System Analyst, Network Administrator etc. This programme also provides excellent opportunities for higher studies in the area of computer science/applications.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) aggregate in 10+2 or its equivalent examination in science stream with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

Admission Details

(a) Direct Admission: Candidates with minimum 75% marks aggregate in Mathematics, Physics and English subjects, in 10+2 examination will be eligible for direct admission.

(b) JIIT (UGET): Admission will be offered to candidates on merit based on marks obtained in JIIT UGET. A test of 2 hours duration comprising of questions on Mathematics, Physics and English will be conducted.

Or
(c) CUET-UG: Admission based on merit of CUET-UG marks scored in Mathematics, Physics and English.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is really good, spacious with all the necessary facilities. It has air conditioned classrooms for students, laboratories, libraries, sports ground, etc. The campus is well maintained and clean.
