Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a full-time two year post-graduate course approved by AICTE and offered by the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.

MCA program will help graduates develop strong theoretical and practical knowledge in computing required to proficiently build software solutions for societal and industrial needs. It will help them to pursue career as entrepreneurs and innovators; software developers or go for higher education and research. MCA program will not only hone their technical skills but also give them skills related to oral and written communication, collaborative working in teams, exhibiting ethical standards, leadership and project management capabilities. This will open up a plethora of career opportunities as software architect, software developer, system analysis, database administrator, Data Scientist, Project Manager and many more. They can also pursue research opportunities by enrolling in Ph.D. programs, collaborating with research institutions, or working in research and development organizations or can even join the respectable profiles in academia/ teaching or choose to start their own IT-related business or venture into entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed BCA/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or BSc / BCom / BA / BS / BVoc or equivalent Degree with Mathematics at l0+2 Level or at Graduation Level. Obtained at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST category) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying Examination.
Candidates must have a pass grade in all subjects of qualifying exam.
Candidates appeared/appearing in final examination of qualifying degree are also eligible.

Admission Details

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria in the qualifying examination will be offered provisional admission based on merit and seat availability.
CUET-PG: Admission will be offered to candidates on merit based on marks obtained in CUET-PG.
The selected candidates will be notified by Email.
Candidates appearing in qualifying examination must submit their results on or before the date of registration.
