48 MonthsBachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by the School of Civil Engineering at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar and approved by AICTE. This course also offered a Lateral Entry.
The B. Tech Program in Civil Engineering was launched in 1997 with an intake of 60 students p.a. Till 2003 the institute was affiliated to Utkal University. The affiliation was changed to Biju Pattnaik University of technology during 2003 when all technical institutes of the state (ODISHA) were brought under single technical University. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was awarded Deemed-to-be-University status under Section 3 of University Grants Commission (UGC) Act during 2004. NBA has granted Tier-I accreditation (under Washington Accord) to the B. Tech Program in Civil Engineering offered by the School of Civil Engineering, KIIT.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2025 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
- Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
- Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
- B.Tech & M.Tech Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
- Should have born on or after 01.07.2004.

College Infrastructure
Yes my College has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students We also have smart classes ,boards,wifi for the hostels, gym and playground for the students sports events.

College Infrastructure
I have graduated long back in 2016. So lot of things have changed since then. I visited the university few years back and I was awestruck with the amazing campus. KIIT has developed the best infrastructure and not a single other university comes even close to it in Odisha. Just the best in class. It has the best Wi-Fi system, state-of-the-art classrooms, labs, an amphitheater, a library, faculty, and everything else that you can imagine.
The experience was very good with ragging free environment.

KIIT has all the infrastructure you need whether in terms of laboratory, academics,cultral groups or sports. This institution can provide you the exposure you want if you have proper dedication to get to improve yourself. It has proper hostel amenties with wifi, 24x7 lights with proper maintenance with proper hygenic maintained.
