Dear Shubha, Karnataka State Open University doesnt offer Engineering Courses. It offers courses like B.Ed, BA, B.Lib. I.Sc, B.Com, MA, M.Sc, M.Lib, M.Com, LLM and Ph. D. In short, KSOU doesnt offer Engineering and Technology courses. It offers Arts, Commerce and Law courses.

I would like to tell you that all the degree from  Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) from 2012 are Not Valid.

This is because KSOU has lost recognition with UGC from 2012.

So you are not valid for government jobs if you are a KSOU degree holder.

Karnataka State Open University, Mysore does not offer M.Sc Chemistry. You can check the university Academic programme with the given below link.

Yes, Karnataka State Open University does provide Distance education programs, and has been approved by the Distance Education Council (DEC).

Here is some information about urdu courses offer by Deparment of urdu which is affiliated by Mysore university.

Departments Urdu, University of Mysore is affiliated to University of Mysore and approved by NAAC. The college offers Master of Arts in Urdu, Master of Philosophy in Urdu and Diploma in Arabic courses.
