Decent classrooms. Labs okay but need upgrades . Small campus, walkable. Wifi limited . Not fancy , but works fine for the price. Its okay for a goverment university at this fee structure . Last it is a growing campus,

    Academics

Regular classes , helpful professors simple system of exam , lab practice is basic. Good for Gate preparation or self learners. Syllabus is UGC based and easy to follow.need more upgrading like classrooms and labs

    Placements

Placements are average. Few core jobs , mostly small companies. No mass recruitment, but students with skills like coding or gate prep can build good careers on their own. Few companies like sail BCL ONGC and steel plant available are in core jobs .

    Value for Money

Super affordable , low tuition, hostel and food costs. Scholarship available best fit for students seeking decent education on a tight budget. Overall whole fees will recover after completion of the course , and got a job like 3-4lpa jobs , so all good

    College Infrastructure

Our university has a small but growing campus. Class rooms and labs are basic . There a canteen library, sports ground. Some labs need updates. Overall it's okay for a government university at this price

    Academics

The university exam system is very good and average passing is very high . Professors are friendly and mostly qualified classes are regular and exqns follow ug c rules . Study support is good for self learner and Gate preparation.

    Placements

Placement are average mostly in small companies. Core job chances are few but most students with coding do well . Overall this university good choice for affordable, decent education with calm campus life and helpful teachers.

It's so easy to leave a review here ,so I really like it

    College Infrastructure

As a university could have been a little better, besides everything is good and sometimes the class room is a little short, the departmental area is very small , need more bigger and better infrastructure

    Academics

The behavior of the professors here is very friendly and helpfull. The classes are all regular but sometimes there are very few classes . The exam rules and everything else is very good, overall academic system in our university very good

    Placements

Our departments placement is so important, but things here are not yet good enough to get direct placement, but many professos give us Opportunities for internship, which is very good & important, at least the system of placement will be better in future

    Value for Money

Being a government university, the fees could have been lower, but still at 19.5k rupees per semester, totalling 2.6lakhs , it seems to be somewhat value for money, the rest of the fees for studying here are very low and everything is very good.

    Campus Life

It would be better if the campus area here was a little bigger, and there is no senior junior sharing system, there is no ragging here and all the professors in the administrative building are very helpful. A friendly atmosphere has been created tthroughout the university, making it a very pleasant place to visit

    College Infrastructure

All the buildings of this university are well built and they are under continuous study. There are some buildings which are not ready yet but will be better in future. Overall everything is well built, will be better in future

    Academics

There are very few classes at the beginning of the semester but then after a few days the classes are full again. And all the professors are very good and friendly. Sobai sob dike helps there are some professors who are a little strict but everyone is good

    Placements

There is a bit of negligence in the placement aspect here, the university hasn't started for a long time so everything is not running properly, and even now there is no principal. This aspect will improve in the future, although it is a little less now.

    Value for Money

Despite being a government university, the fees here are comparatively high, but not that much, everyone can afford it. If the fees were a little lower, everyone would benefit. The rest of the universities cannot be said to be perfect.

    Campus Life

Campus life is not that good, but everyone is very helpful, all the faculties are very helpful, and we live in a friendly environment, this aspect is quite good, overall the quality is very good, it will be better in the future.

It was great to review my current university.

    College Infrastructure

Unlike most universities, which are spread across many areas, this university's campus area is much smaller. Most of the buildings here are not yet ready, because it is in the initial stage, finally everything will be in a good environment and will have to be managed a little bit.

    Academics

Academically speaking, classes are regular at this university, but sometimes due to the lack of faculty, classes are held online. However, classes are held. Another problem is that there are very few classrooms now, so most classes are online ,

    Placements

Since the university is in its early stages, So even though placements on campus are less, there are many opportunities available off campus, Besides, all the professors give us opportunities, but overall placement will take some time to improve.

    Value for Money

If you compare it to other colleges, the fees here are a bit higher. But since it is a government university, the fees here are much lower, the fees are 19 thousand rupees per semester, this is the total for the entire four-year course is 2.5lacks

    Campus Life

Regarding campus life, overall it is not that good but local boys and girls do not have any problem in studying. But those who come from other districts face some problems at first. But if everything goes according to plan, there will be no effect and there will be no problems in personal and academic life.

    Others

Finally, I will say one thing: if you are going to pursue a professional degree, first look elsewhere and if you find something better, try going there. If you don't get the chance, enroll here only if this is your last option.

    College Infrastructure

Very good infrastructure and well settle lab and good qualified teacher, highly recommend to have admission, but placement scenario not good, all you have to do own, maximum student go for phd and give csir net , gate exam for further development of their career.

    Academics

All good, they give very good marks, maximum student go for national level exam many if them qualified national level exam with good score, now they are well settled in top college of our nation like iits , iisers , csirs.

    Placements

Placement vary department to department, in our chemistry dept placement is very poor ,to be specific not good at all , they give average package around 240000 to 300000 per annum, placement wise not good but faculty wise very good.

    Value for Money

It's very good value for money. Not have so much like other top top institute of our nation. It's give you so much exposure. Hostel fees are also so less that middle class family people can easily afford. Highly recommended for this reason, and it is ugc granted institute.

    Campus Life

Campus life average, not very excited or not very poor. If people can make friend i assure they have great time in this period. Boys and girls ratio like 4:1 , there is one fest overall and one departmental fest. highly not recommended.

    College Infrastructure

The college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The classroom have smartboards and wifi is not all over the campus. The equipment which are present are well maintained. The living space is cleaned and food is hygienic here.

    Academics

I am studying bcom from here because I have interest in the field. The quality of teaching is not that good. It curriculum does not include all the curriculum and it follow the same pattern every year. All this factor doesn't make you job ready.

    Placements

The quality of placement at our college is not that great. The percentage of students placed are around 70 percent rest everyone got job outside the college. The average salary was 20k per month and highest was 45k per month.

    KNU Asansol review

    College Infrastructure

The classrooms are not much tidy, the bathrooms don't get maintained very often, the labs are good by the way but still there are plenty of room for improvements and also the wifi limit should be increased.

    Academics

Practical methods are lacking in academics, the teachers are good but the university is not up to date with the modern day technology at our disposal, they should include extra curriculum activities also and of course internship programs for masters students is a must.

    Placements

Barely has any placement opportunities, even in the professional courses like bba or the bca the placement opportunities is very less not to mention there are little to opportunities of placements from other departments.

    Value for Money

Although there are so many rooms for improvements I think it is a decent college when it comes to expenses although I would sugges it is not much value for money like deal in KNU, as students would get theoritical knowledge but would not acquire much practical approach.

    Campus Life

The Campus is not something of an attraction here, the surroundings of the university are all dirty and muddy, the connectivity is good though but students don't even get to play sports here. The support staff is horrible, the authorities of the university are dreadful.

    Others

The university is new, the staff is relatively new, there are plenty of room for improvements but the current approach by the university is not gonna lead it to somewhere good. They should reflect on the drawbacks, I had to suffer through various things, I hope the new comers don't face the same issues and the authorities solve the problems in future.

    The worst

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The does not have all the necessary infrastructure its lack behind in many things. There was normal classroom and slow running fans. The living space are not that clean and food hygience was okay. All other things were upto marked.

    Academics

I studied Bcom here because of my interest in the field of accounts. The quality of teaching is not that great. The curriculum does not get updated and faculty was so dumb. The knowledge from here does not make you job ready at all.

    Placements

There was no placement assistant provided by the college. Student have to find the job on their own and no internal support from college. Based the knowledge we get from here no company takes us so have to work under CA firm. The salary one can get is between 7-9k.

Well organised University for general degree courses

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Well organised and KNU has great infrastructure for studies. We can get a very nice environment for studies but the only trouble that we have to face is that sometimes results are published too late hence this is a major problem for the students

    Academics

I have completed my graduation from this university and we get a good recognition all over West Bengal. All the professors are well qualified and we get quality education from the respected professors.

    Placements

This is a general degree University hence no placement, but there are quality law colleges under this university. We get a good teaching experience and a great environment for study in KNU. You can complete your graduation as well as post graduation from this university.

    Value for Money

Nice value for money, every standard of people in the society can afford the cost of the education in KNU and there are lot of Government Colleges under KNU with well qualified professors. Students can also study in those colleges.

    Campus Life

Well decorated campus , library is well maintained we can get a good collection of books from the library and the science laboratory are well equipped and there are lot of courses offered in Kazi Nazrul University

    Others

Kazo Nazrul University is an University with all the necessities an University should have and it is a good University as well as the colleges under this university are well organised and have a good studying atmosphere

Have a question related to Kazi Nazrul University, Burdwan ?

    Hey,

As far as l know offers for placement at the metallurgical department at BTech is in good shape. According to past students' reviews, the majority of them are placed in good industries. By studying metallurgical engineering, a student with decent grades can readily find work (from campus).

    Best of luck.
