The Department of Clothing and Textiles offers a two year Masters programme which aims to equip students with necessary proficiencies by integrating theoretical and practical instructional methods. The major thrust areas of the department are Textiles and Costumes, Garment Production, Natural Dyes, Minor Fibers, Textile Science, Textile Finishes and Testing, Value addition, Weaving, Fashion and Textile Design, Computer Application etc. The highlights of the masters programme at the department are Internship, Elective courses based on areas of research and Dissertation which are an integral part of its curriculum.
