MVA Painting at MSU Baroda Offline Course

1. Applicants seeking admission for M.V.A in Painting Programme require BVA Degree either from this Faculty or qualification with the same specifications from an institution recognized by The M.S. University of Baroda, as a full time student. 2. Applicants seeking admission for the MVA Painting Programme require B.V.A./ B.F.A (four years) Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts with specialization in a relevant subject. 3. Candidates with Diploma are not eligible for MVA Programme. They should apply for Post Diploma in Painting Programme separately. 4. Candidates with (10+3) or (10+5) Degree are not eligible for MVA in Painting Programme. How to Apply: After completing ONLINE submission (last date June 25) all candidates must submit their hardcopy (printed) application forms along with all the necessary documents to The Dean'™s office, Faculty of Fine Arts. The M.S. University of Baroda. The hardcopy application should reach the office no later than July 2, 2014. Incomplete Applications will be rejected. The hardcopy of the application must enclose the following: a. A portfolio of 10 photographs (5 x 7 inches) of selected works from last two years. b. A brief statement on the work with intent for higher study in approximately 250 words. c. Attested documents i. 10th marksheet & passing certificate/Credit Certificate. ii. 12th marksheet & passing certificate/Credit Certificate. iii. School Leaving Certificate. iv. Attempt Certificate (if any). v. BVA Certificate. vi. Caste Certificate (only for Gujarat-Reserved category) vii. Migration Certificate. * Candidates are required to produce portfolio of selected works during the interview. * The first scrutiny will be done on the basis of Photographs and the statement of intent by the applicant and selected candidates will be called for an Entrance Test and Personal Interview. * The final selection is subject to the candidate'™s aptitude and excellence in entrance test and personal interview. Candidates whose results of qualifying examinations are awaited may submit the form and appear for the Aptitude Test provisionally. Their admissions, however can be confirmed only after they have passed the requisite qualifying examination before beginnings of the Classes in the Faculty.
