Our college is excellent whether it be infrastructure or faculty or placement. There are many media's of exposure of our talent in our college.Of you good in drama then there is Dramatics club,if you are good in dance then there are many dance committee's like garba , Rajasthani, Marathi,Bhangra, western etc. Many fest occur in our college like AVISHKAR which is a tech fest of our college .As the name suggests it is a fest of technology like robotics etc . Another fest which occur in our college is CULRAV which is a cultural fest of our college. Many renowned artist come to entertain us like the great shayar Dr Rahat Indori ,band-THE LOCAL Train,dj MARNIK etc.And most of all there is approximately 90 % placement record of our college. In most of the branches it is 100% .If you become a part of this college then there is nothing to regret.Annual athletics meet happen in our college every year with great enthusiasm in which students showcase their sporty talent. This is a college where there is no limit of exposure, knowledge etc

DAILY ROUTINE: Normal day in the life of an mnnitian starts at 8 in the morning(sometimes 9) and continues till 12noon. Most of the batches have a 2 hour break from 12pm to 2pm and after that classes continue till 5pm in the evening.(Don\'t worry there will not be any study hours like in private colleges). The only problem is that attendance have to be maintained atleast above 75%(though there will be some relaxations).Quality of food in college mess will be very poor and non-vegetarians has to suffer a lot as campus is purely veg. There will be an average of 28 to 32 classes per week. Lan service will be provided to all the students in the college to every room.Rooms are somewhat congested with the exception of 1st year rooms. The campus is strictly against ragging. EXAMS: There will be 2 exams per semester. One is mid-semester which is of 20 marks and other is end-semester which is of 60 marks.Other 20 marks will be awarded by respective professors.Grading system is absolute.Assignments will be given by some lecturers mainly in labs.In some labs like system calls and networking there will be weekly assignments that has to be submitted. Quality and method of teaching: Quality of teaching in computer science branch is not up to the mark. All the professors were somewhat old and seems to be uninterested in teaching.Teaching will be a huge disappointment. Medium of communication will be English but students from south India has to suffer when it comes to dealing with regular activities.Mostly the teaching is traditional and through powerpoint presentations. Overall experience: Placements in the college is very good.We can get our doubts clarified from our seniors who are always helpful.Although the teaching is not good, there will be committees for every branch run by seniors and they conduct classes to clarify doubts every week.It will be a great learning experience.

MNNIT allahabad has got a big name as a NIT but truely speaking it is not that good. Infrastructure is good, placements are also good but faculty is really poor. Except hostel for first year boys none of the hostel got a good building.campus is beautiful and large (about 220 acres).you can have a great view of sangam ,akbar qila and Azad park but other than this no more places to visit.Collage has few canteens but Food and restaurants of Allahabad are just so so.Only help u will get from seniors.Inspite of this collage organises a various cultural and technical events. College provides lot of opportunities for students and good thing is that new comers are motivated to organise the events. So if u do not get an IIT or NITs of south than you should be here.

The infrastructure of the academic and administrative building is a candy to the eye and moving around that area is just an awesome experience. Then comes the hostel life:the hostel of first year (boys) is the latest building constructed in this college and is a very spacious one.The rooms are big ,three persons per room,a balcony,a study room, three separate Almirahs, well ventilated and what not. Altogether it is not like any traditional hostel(messed up).The bad part about first year boy's hostel is internet connectivity.wifi signals are not received at your room and that's a problem in winters because you need to leave the warmth of your room and sit in a room down (called MP room) to access internet via free Wi-Fi and speed is also not appreciable till 11pm,after that it goes upto 3-5mbps. What to say about placement,I am no one to talk about that right now Faculty is good but not applicable for chemistry department. It is just intolerable. In chemistry class one cannot properly understand a word that a 65 year old person tries to utter with his full power The food of mess is like any other mess(bad). But altogether NITA(what I call it) is like a home far away from home with helping seniors if you approach them.It is a fun engineering experience here

According to me on reviewing my college, I firstly say that only first-year hostel is good but not very good because there is only wifi in the first-year hostel but not LAN, and in rest hostel, i.e second and third-year hostel rooms are very congested you cannot study on table and chair within your room.
