NIT Tadepalligudem has not been ranked by NIRF for 3 years.

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Andhra Pradesh or NIT AP is placed in Tadepalligudem.

Govt. Engrg. College, Salem would be a better choice.

The college furnishes adequate positions in firms like Information Chips, Wipro, Infosys, TCS with elevated earnings. The college moreover conducts off-campus placement hustles.

I am assuming that you are talking abut andhra pradesh as your home state and your sc rank is 17866 so this is quite simple that you will not get any seat in nitap which ever branch you may tall about as the closing rank is about 9000 in sc  category basis and you have a very high rank in that prospective so you may not get any seat here but yes you can predict other colleges using this link

NIT AP would be a better choice in my opinion as first of all it is an nit so it has its own benifits also it has been mentored by nit warangal so a tinch of its legacy has penetrated in the culture of nit ap and you already know that nit warangal is a great institution also in 1st year at nit ap you are taught subjects from all domain so that has an advantage in itself as you have knowldge about other domains other than your own branch whereas in iiitsricity only cse related subjects are taught nit ap is my recommendation but yes since you have such good percentile I would suggest you to go with other nits that are older although you may get ece branch there yet they will be far better than all other new nits rest the final decision is yours.

Looking at current scenario cse looks improbable but yes i would say that you can definitely get ece branch and also electrical and electronics engineering at you rank is 19615 which is somewhere in between the opening and closing rank in open category only so even without ews benifit you may get a seat but yes ews may help in getting cse if there happens to be ac chance which looks bleak as cse open category cutoff is about 14746 but yes you may try and also you can look forward to csab counselling where you may stand a chance for cse branch you may predict your college by this link-

Here I would prefer to join nit andhra pradesh as it has better course cirriculum and focusses more on research which ultimately improves the academic level of nitap also the placements here are better if you compare as a whole although with iiit pune you might get the location advantage but overall looking at placements academics and other factors I would suggest you to join NITAP  so choose wisely.
