Eligibility Criteria
Must have passed class XII (or equivalent) Board examination with a minimum of five subjects and secured at least 75% aggregate marks. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates should be at least 65%.

The admission to B.Tech. degree programme at NIT Uttarakhand is done through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA)/CSAB. Admissions were given on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) prepared by JoSAA considering score in JEE (Main).

genuinely promising once the permanent campus takes
College Infrastructure
The institute has been running from a temporary campus in Srinagar, Garhwal for years, which explains why facilities feel incomplete in places. Labs are small but reasonably structured, classrooms are functional, and Wi-Fi is available across hostels — so the basics are there. But a proper library? Students themselves point out that there isn't a good one. That's a serious gap for an engineering institute.

College Infrastructure
The college is not very old. Infrastructure is infact very good. I see good teachers training well in their respective fields. The teachers are good. Infrastructure is awesome. Proper spacing for everything.
