72 MonthsPh.D. Chemical Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

B.Tech. or B.E. or Equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Biotechnology / Petrochemical Engineering / Petroleum Technology / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / EEE / Electrochemical Engineering /Electronics and Instrumentation/ Chemical Technology/ Polymer Technology/ Biochemical Engineering / Energy Engineering / Environmental Engineering and allied disciplines. M.Tech. or M.E. in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering) / Biotechnology / Petrochemical Engineering / Petroleum Technology / Process Control and Instrumentation / Control Systems / Polymer Technology / Biochemical Engineering / Energy Engineering / Nanotechnology / Environmental Engineering and allied areas.
