Bachelor of Technology in (B.Tech) Civil Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Poornima University, Jaipur.

Civil Engineering deals with the talent and knowledge of construction dams, bridges, highways, water supply systems, modern townships, waste management and pollution hindrance etc. Naturally, civil engineers work in fields such as civil designing, township planning, building inspecting, building material testing, construction project officer, etc.

Civil engineers of today need in-depth understanding of physics, mathematics, geology and hydrology. Apart from an understanding of these basic concepts they need construction based knowledge as well. With an amalgamation of such concepts and practices engineers can design structures that meet requirements like cost, safety, reliability, durability, and energy adeptness.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have Passed in 10+2 with minimum 50% (45% for “SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/SBC”) marks in aggregate from CBSE/equivalent board along with 45% (40% for ST/SC/OBC/SBC) marks in Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/Computer Science/IP/Biology/Biotechnology.

Admission Details

Admissions to B.Tech will be through 70 % of the Total seats through merit in Eligibility Exam / Entrance Test, 15% of Total Seats through JEE-(MAIN) score & 15% of Total Seats through XII class PCM Percentage.

College Infrastructure

The engineering college has a structured campus with all essential facilities for students academic blocks are well organized and classroom are adequately sized and proper with proper ventilation and teaching equipment department laboratories are functional and allow students to perform practical experiment regarding to their subjects library is a useful academic space with technical book reference material and online sources.

The poornima college is widely spread in a large area wuth big buildings for studies and many grounds for the sports. The college has well equipped labs , good wi-fi , library with excellent collection of knowledgeable books.
