The University has a library as an excellent learning resource. SGRRU is well equipped with three library and information resource centers, along with more than 30 departmental libraries. The university libraries are housed in a 5097 sq. m. area and consist of an adequately rich collection of over 91000 books. Our libraries own subscriptions to more than 210 national and international print journals in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, management, applied sciences, social sciences, etc. The library has access to numerous e-journals, e-books, and other e-resources. The world-class facilities of the library consist of reading halls, a faculty lounge, competitive exam sections, a WI-FI facility, a reprographic facility CCTV surveillance, etc. SGRRU Libraries are automated by ILMS and OPAC through the Internet. The library is a member of DELNET, EBSCO (Academic elite), JSTOR, SPSS, IJOR, K-HUB, and UPDATE for bibliographic and full-text e-resources. The university is a member of the Indian electronic thesis and dissertation digital library called “ Shodh Sindhu” & “Shodh Ganga” for enhancing transparency and honesty in research.

The university has open playgrounds for outdoor activities like cricket, and football, tracks for athletics, basketball courts, volleyball courts, etc. Our indoor sports facility also has two gymnasiums.

The sports facilities (indoor and outdoor) include table tennis, carom, chess, badminton, basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, playfield for track and field events, yoga, meditation, and a gymnasium on the campus.

More than 66% of classrooms are ICT-enabled which helps students to understand the concepts being taught with the help of audio-video teaching aids.
