The B.Tech. Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology) program prepares undergraduate students to become industry-ready professionals in the field of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI), which forms the foundation of today’s digital revolution. From smartphones and laptops to advanced medical devices and autonomous systems, VLSI enables the creation of complex integrated circuits that power modern technology.

The curriculum blends core subjects like semiconductor physics, analog/digital circuit design, Verilog HDL, and CAD tools with advanced topics such as device simulation, semiconductor fabrication, and packaging. Interdisciplinary learning is emphasized through system architecture, programming, data visualization, materials science, and machine learning.

Balancing theory with hands-on practice, the program ensures proficiency in modern design methodologies and tools. Students engage in projects, internships, and research aligned with emerging industry trends such as AI-driven chip design and low-power computing.

By fostering innovation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, the program prepares graduates for careers in chip design, semiconductor manufacturing, design automation, and research—empowering them to drive the next generation of VLSI technologies.
