Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science / IT / Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Indian Board. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics along with their chosen optional subject. Candidate from Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities should have secured an aggregate minimum of 40% marks
B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) :
Candidates should have passed minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. OR Candidates should have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Admission Details
Admission to all programs offered by the University shall be strictly based on merit. The selection of candidates will be carried out through University-level counseling and/or OJEE counseling, as applicable.

College Infrastructure
Infrastructure at Silicon University is good, with modern labs, smart classrooms, library, sports areas, and decent hostels. The campus is clean and well maintained, though hostel Wi-Fi and mess quality can improve.
Balanced college, good academics, active campus.

Silicon University has good infrastructure with modern labs, library, sports facilities, and decent hostels. Classrooms are clean with smart boards and Wi-Fi, though hostel Wi-Fi and mess facilities can be improved.
