- Master's Degree (Other than History) from Delhi University, 60% marks and above in Msc/M.Com or with 55% marks or above in MA in Humanities and Social Sciences or equivalent grade.
- B.A. (Hons.) in any subject other than History from Delhi University, 55% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- B.A. (Hons.) in any subject other than History from other than Delhi University, 60% marks and above in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
