BAMS

5.5 years 

• Candidates must have completed class 12 with science or equivalent examination and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. 

• For international students, their qualification should be considered equivalent and approved by the university. 

BHMS

5.5 years 

• Candidates must have completed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology  subjects or equivalent examination and have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. 

• Candidates must have reached the age of 17 years by December 31 in the year they seek admission to the first year of the course. 

• Candidates who are blind (including colour blindness), deaf and/or dumb are not eligible. 

BUMS

5.5 years 

PhD

6 years 

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Ayurveda, unani, Homeopathy, Yoga, Siddha, Biosciences or Sanskrit with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PH/ Visually Handicapped candidates). 

• Candidates who are in the final year of their postgraduate program can also apply. 

• If a regular teaching faculty member of the University or its affiliated college seeks to pursue a PhD degree, they must adhere to the University/ State Government rules which mandate a minimum one-year service period before applying for the program. 

MD/MS

3 years 

• Candidates must have completed BAMS program from an Ayurvedic College recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine. 

• Candidates must be registered with either a State or Central Council of Indian Medicine. 

• Candidates must have completed a rotatory compulsory internship.
