24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) Lateral Entry is a two years full-time postgraduate course offered by Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.
Eligibility Criteria
Passed BCA/B.Sc.(IT/)/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree. OR Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Programme as per the norms of the Uttaranchal University). Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
Admission Details
Admission is based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. University also conducts interviews of all applicants before admitting the eligible candidates.

The Infrastructure of the MCA department is quite good. The Computer labs are functional and provide access to necessary software for programming and project work. On the downside, the medical and sports facilities are quite limited, and the food quality in the hostel mess needs significant improvement.

College infrastructure is amazing having cooler water on every floor and biomatric is also present on every floor and it is very clean and green place and canteen is also there prices are quite reasonable.
