Uttaranchal University, Dehradun has a Placement Cell that ensures that maximum number of students are placed in top-notch companies. The university has a Corporate Relations and Placement Centre that provides infrastructural support during the conduction of recruitment drive at Uttaranchal University. The university has its own In-house Soft Skill Training Department that enhances the technical skills, interpersonal skills, and soft skills of the students and focuses on the overall Personality Development, LRDI (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation), Training on Quantitative Aptitude and Training on Verbal Ability of the students and expand their horizon. Invitation- Uttaranchal University, Dehradun sends an invite to the recruiters and interested companies accept the invitation and give confirmation of conducting the campus drive.
Registration- Students need to register for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.
Slot-Allocation- Recruiters will then fix dates with Uttaranchal University, Dehradun to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including Written Test, Group discussion and Interview.
Pre-Placement Talk- Students are given pre-placement talks by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.
Written Test- Students need to appear and qualify a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
Group Discussion & Interview- Students who will qualify the written test also need to qualify Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students. After clearing the GD round, students also need to go through various rounds of Interview namely Technical Interview and HR Interview conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills and confidence of students.
