The campus is beautiful and well-kept, with plenty of greenery. The academic blocks are well Maintained and Wi-Fi is available 24/7. The hostels offer mess facilities but lack canteens. However, there are nearby shops for snacks and essentials. The central library is a great place for studying.
The faculty in the commerce department are qualified and experienced. The teaching is good, and if you attend lectures regularly, you’ll grasp the concepts easily. The curriculum is acceptable not very focused on industry needs but it provides a solid academic base.
The job prospects for B.Com aren't very strong here. From what I’ve seen among my seniors and classmates, the average salary package falls between ₹2 LPA and ₹4 LPA. Some standout students managed to secure offers up to ₹7 LPA.
Infrastructure of this College is really good wifi is there sports centre is there hig buildings are there. Smart boards and cctv camera are available bug ground garden is also there big library computer labs science labs all facilities are there
Teachers are very professional they teach us regularly and very nicely they give lectures even sometimes practically they tell us by providing internship during last year. Faculties are really supportive and nice
Placement system is really good big companies visit in college than it depends on the students how they present themselves before the interviewers . Mostly marks also seen by the companies according to that also they select students
Every practical aspect of agriculture is touched Field work and extension is prioritised good environment better classrooms peaceful equipped labs Uttaranchal University is a solid mid-tier choice for B.Sc. Agriculture—boasting strong infrastructure, experienced faculty, and respectable placements in private agri‑companies. It demands significant fees and may not guarantee uniform placement outcomes, so prospective students should be prepared for proactive internships and practical engagement to maximize returns.
Uttaranchal University's B.Sc. Agriculture stands out for: A robust ICAR-aligned curriculum enriched with practical training. Well-qualified and mostly student-friendly faculty. Strong lab, field, and infrastructure support. A balanced assessment pattern, with rigorous external exams.
Uttaranchal University offers decent placement support for B.Sc. Agriculture students, though outcomes vary depending on individual skills, academic performance, and proactive engagement in internships. The average placement rate is around 60–70%, with some batches reporting slightly lower figures (~40–50%) depending on the year.
Uttaranchal University offers a modern, well-equipped campus with good infrastructure and a curriculum aligned with ICAR guidelines. The total course fee for B.Sc. Agriculture is approximately ₹7.5–8 lakhs (including tuition, registration, and other charges over 4 years), with hostel and food costing an additional ₹80,000–₹1,00,000 annually.
Uttaranchal University offers a vibrant and well-maintained 100+ acre campus nestled in the scenic surroundings of Dehradun. Campus life is a blend of academic focus and co-curricular excitement, especially for B.Sc. Agriculture students who spend time in both classrooms and open fields.
The Infrastructure of the MCA department is quite good. The Computer labs are functional and provide access to necessary software for programming and project work. On the downside, the medical and sports facilities are quite limited, and the food quality in the hostel mess needs significant improvement.
The Teachers are generally good and supportive. Doubt sessions and workshops are regularly conducted. They are academically strong and provide effective learning to the students. They help students, beyond the classroom hours.
The placement are gradually improving but still have room for growth. While the placement drive exists, it is still on a modest scale, mostly offering opportunities in smaller organisations. Some students from the senior batch managed to secure roles in local startups.
overall college infrastructure is good as if we talk about cleanliness ,classrooms, sports centre they all are good there wifi is connected all around the campus although there libraries have ample amount of books which helps us in gaining the knowledge.
All the professors and teachers have good knowledge in their field as they help us in solving our problem with ease also they used to guide us in our academics which beneficial for us to get the good marks.
college is providing good placements to the students as many big companies comes here to select the students which is good for the students to achieve their goals although college also helps the students to build the skills.
Infrastructure is good, it's provides you with nice classrooms, sports area, food and cafeterias with good quality food, Fitness gym and lots, hostels for students from other region and hospitals fir medical Facilities.
High quality education, with good duration of classes, provides you with clubs and societies you may join to showcase your talent and skills, supported by the faculty members, students gain real world experience.
From past few years placements have increased, students have achieved placements with high packages. It could improve more but overall it depends on the students transferable skills like communication, leadership etc.
Would recommend with not very high fees, It is managable, it's provides you with clubs and sports Facilities to showcase your talent and skills ???? and you get rewarded. Your ideas and innovation are supported by the college.
It is a mix of academics late-night study sessions and campus events like fest, diwali carnival, you will cherish every moment of your campus life with your friends but more focus should be on your career and growth.
Overall it's a good college, you will be provided with everything, stationary shop, cafeterias/ Food court, clubs, gym, fest, and carnivals, and the festivals are celebrated in colleges with fun but your focus should be on your career, everything should be balanced out side by side whether it's about having fun or late night study sessions, If you are looking for a average fees structured college with all necessities it is a good to go with UU, all the faculty members are really nice.
The classrooms and facilities are okay but they could use some upgrades, especially when it comes to technology and study spaces. The hostels are decent, but they could be better maintained to make living on campus more comfortable. Overall, the infrastructure serves its purpose, but it’s nothing special.
I did my bcom and academically, my experience has been so-so. The courses cover the basics, but they don’t always feel up-to-date with what’s happening in the business world today. Some of the teachers are very helpful and do their best to make classes interesting, but overall, the teaching could be more engaging and hands-on. I think the university should include more practical learning activities, like workshops or real-life projects, to help us apply what we learn in class.
There are some companies that come to hire students, but the number of good job options is limited. The roles offered are not always very exciting, and many students, including myself, wish there were more and better job opportunities. The placement cell tries to support us, but they could do a better job of connecting with more companies and preparing us for the job interviews.
When it comes to value for money, I think the university is just alright. The fees are a bit high, and while the education is decent, I expected to get more in terms of resources and opportunities. I feel like for the amount we’re paying, the university could offer more practical experiences or extra help to prepare us for the real world.
Campus life here is fine. There are a few clubs and activities to join, but they’re not very active or well-organized. It’s a decent place to study, but if you’re looking for an exciting and fun campus experience, you might find it a bit lacking. I think the university could do more to create a stronger sense of community and make campus life more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a university that offers a great all-around experience, you might find that this one falls short in some aspects. It’s not a bad choice, but it’s also not exceptional.
Our college has a huge library, well-equipped labs, and classrooms are neat and clean with well-furnished benches, and our classes gets cleaned on regular basis. All the facilities which is the need of the students are provided by our college. The bed provided in hostel is comfortable and if we talk about food that was awesome proper hygiene is maintained.
The professors of particular course are well qualified and they have deep knowledge of their respective fields, even they have a good knowledge of industries too. The course curriculum compared to other colleges was so excellent, help you to learn various things and develop your skills.
Our college has a dedicated placement cell which supports us to get placed in all the companies that visited our college. One thing to be noticed that, most of the company select students according to their eligibility criteria, and do not take students in bulk, which might affect the placement ratio of our college.
My fees was 2.5 lacs of whole course. Yes I get to learn a lot new things in college which provides me the best return on my investment.
They must work on their placements.
Nothing
We have a big college building, campus and ground. But our course is totally online; we have an online library, a virtual lab and classes are taken by video conference. I don't know about hostels, but the college canteen is cool.
Faculty is knowledgeable, and the campus promotes a culture of academic excellence. They teach well and have masters as their qualification. Their way of teaching in practical makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are much difficult to pass. Our passing percent is 45%.The course is demanding, making us industry-ready.
For placements, the college does a good job getting students ready for work. While there might not be as many job chances in mathematics as in some other areas, the college’s help and advice are really useful. The maximum package offered by companies is 7 LPA and the minimum is 4 LPA.
The college is value for money.
Campus Life is good.
Nothing
Uttaranchal university provides an excellent infrastructure and facilities to support student learning and well-being. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, projectors, and wifi, enchancing the learning experience.
As an MCA student at Uttaranchal University, I am studying the advanced concepts in computer applications, including programming, software development, database management, and networking. I chose this field because of my passion for technology and my desire to build a career in the ever-evolving IT industry,
The quality of teaching at Uttaranchal university is excellent. The faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable, using modern teaching methods and tools such as smart boards and projectors to make learning engaging and effective. The placement process was well-organized, smooth, and supportive. The placement cell's efforts in coordinating with companies and scheduling interviews were commendable , making the process easy and pleasant.
