Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering With Specialisation in Data Analytics is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the VIT-AP University, Amaravati.

The School of Computer Science and Engineering offers a B. Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Data Analytics course provides an in-depth knowledge of various Data Analytics skills, e.g. mathematical reasoning, statistical skills, machine learning skills, programming skills, knowledge discovery skills, business intelligence, data mining & data warehousing skills and data visualization skills. With data size increasing in most companies, deserving candidates in this domain have a huge requirement. This course is offered to equip students with knowledge and skills in cutting-edge technologies that are embraced by industries. The students are trained in data management, data mining, storage technologies, predictive analytics, machine learning, and deep learning to hone their skillset in big data. Students gain knowledge regarding principles, tools and techniques to model various real world problems, analyze them, and discover useful information.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / PIO / OCI.
NRI applicants can directly apply under ‘NRI Category’ through the NRI application form.
Foreign applicants who have studied/are studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.
Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for admission into Engineering in the academic year 2026.
The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
Applicants should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be cancelled.

Admission Details

Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in any one of the following qualifying examinations in 2026

The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University/Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK For PCM : Physics & Mathematics - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level For PCB : Physics & Biology - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level
High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

i) For PCM : Physics & Mathematics - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL

ii) For PCB : Physics & Biology - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL

Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.

i) Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared for multiple board examinations in the same academic year are not eligible.

ii) For Indian nationals attending VITEEE 2026 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech. admission.

ii) In case VITEEE 2026 gets cancelled due to natural calamities or causes beyond the control of the institute, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks. Applicants shall be informed accordingly.

Balancing my studies and clg life

College Infrastructure

Campus is very big and nice, but walking to the girls' hostel under the hot sun is very tiring. Security is too much strict for us girls. In-time for girls' hostel is very early compared to boys, and we need parents' permission every time we want to go out, which is very annoying. Wi-Fi is fast in rooms, so I can watch movies, but mobile network is sometimes very bad. Mess food is just okay, some days it is nice, but mostly it is very boring.

Overall its average,,not very good not too bad
