Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the VIT-AP University, Amaravati.

The objective of this programme is to learn the concepts of electronics and communication disciplines and apply them to solve real world problems in the industry. It emphasizes the design of hardware systems as well as communication systems. The students start the programme learning the fundamental concepts of Electrical Engineering, while also studying foundation courses in Mathematics and Physics in tandem. A student, then, progresses to study core subjects of Electronics, such as Analog and Digital Circuit Design, Control Engineering, and communications courses, such as Analog and Digital Communications, Signals and Systems, etc. The foundations laid by these basic courses enable the students to select various electives that provide them with specialized skill sets.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / PIO / OCI.
NRI applicants can directly apply under ‘NRI Category’ through the NRI application form.
Foreign applicants who have studied/are studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.
Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible to apply for admission into Engineering in the academic year 2026.
The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
Applicants should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be cancelled.

Admission Details

Candidates appearing for the VITEEE-2026 should have either completed or shall be appearing in any one of the following qualifying examinations in 2026

The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations or any other Board accepted by VIT as equivalent to 10+2 examination.
Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University/Pearson Edexcel regulated by UK For PCM : Physics & Mathematics - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level For PCB : Physics & Biology - A Level/ Chemistry - A/AS Level and English - A/AS Level
High School Certificate Examination of the International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

i) For PCM : Physics & Mathematics - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL

ii) For PCB : Physics & Biology - HL, Chemistry - SL/HL

Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with minimum of 5 subjects as recognized by central board.
Applicants who have completed the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside India should produce an equivalence certificate to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class 12 Examination with grade/CGPA converted to percentage.

i) Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full Time and Formal Education are alone eligible to apply. Candidates who have appeared for multiple board examinations in the same academic year are not eligible.

ii) For Indian nationals attending VITEEE 2026 is mandatory to be eligible for B.Tech. admission.

ii) In case VITEEE 2026 gets cancelled due to natural calamities or causes beyond the control of the institute, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks. Applicants shall be informed accordingly.

I like the way they used the whole land. they did not make it look small or suffocated, it is what i like about this college. greenery over here is top notch. it will refresh your mind like in a good way .

Many praise AC labs, libraries, Wi-Fi, clean hostels, and good food quality, with sports facilities and 24/7 medical aid standing out.classrooms often lack AC and have slow fans, Wi-Fi is unreliable, and the campus remains under construction, expected to take years. Overall, it's solid but evolving

College have all equipments and proper teaching aids.The ground is huge and there are separate gyms for both girls and boys .College campus consit of indoor stadium and spacious auditorium.Well developed College building.
