The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education-Govt of Karnataka. Acharya Polytechnic offers full-time 3-year diploma programmes in the fields of technology, engineering, and non-engineering.
Acharya Polytechnic diploma courses are available in 9 specialisations from mechanical engineering to mining engineering and fashion technology. Admission into Acharya Polytechnic courses is provided based on the performance of the candidates in the previous qualifying examination.
