Adarsh College of Professional Studies, Abu Road, Rajasthan was established in 2011 is affiliated College situated at Abu Road. This is an old university of limited acreage of 2.34 acre that houses several undergraduate programmes in different fields. At present the college has only 55 students and 9 faculties and this kind of strength facilitate more concentration towards their subject. The institute imparts 5 degree programmes in various fields of Computer Applications, Business Administration, Commerce, Science as well as Arts streams. The standard ranking of the college cannot be determined neither the accreditation information but the idea is to foster a quality educational delivery in the areas of specialisation.

Adarsh College of Professional Studies is equipped with a number of amenities for student use in their learning and development. It is one of the gems of academic and research related collection with a collection of about 1600 books mainly related to Computer Science Commerce and Arts. This is 61 magazines and 10 newspapers most of which are made easily accessible to the students to read. The IT development is sound and includes three efficient computer centers equipped with forty terminals and Internet facility. Access to the internet is possible all over the campus to allow students to have effective flows for their academic activities. Science students are catered by college Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany laboratories containing modern apparatus. For sport lovers, this recreation place has big playground and space for playing many indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, volley ball, tennis, etc., import table tennis. The college has a cafeteria in the compound which serves food for the students and Colleagues.

The Adarsh College of Professional Studies provides 5 full time courses. They include Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor if Science (B.Sc) and Bachelor of Arts (BA). All the above mentioned programmes are structured as full time three years courses. The only course with a specified intake is the BCA programme which has 80 seat intake themselves. Taking the total given student intake capacity for all courses to be as 55; it may be even wise to mention that this stats could not hold up to date. The graduates data of the latest year is missing especially the number of students that graduated.

At Adarsh College of Professional Studies, it is pointed out that the admission process is pretty easy, although some of the procedures have not been elaborated. The college does not mention specific entrance tests for admission, thus, admission criteria could be in terms of percentage in qualifying examinations or as per the university norms of the college affiliating to it.
