Adarsha College of Education, North 24 Parganas: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Adarsha College of Education was established in the year 2011 located at North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education. It offers professional programmes in education. It is spread over 0.87 acres, with a student capacity of 180 at the undergraduate level and 16 faculty members. 

Adarsha College of Education also provides several facilities. An operational library with over 4,500 books, 2,000 titles, and 20 journals ensures that students access an excellent learning resource in respect of their academic curricula. The library is also fitted with modern amenities that include photocopying services, internet connectivity, and e-learning resources. At the college level, good sports facilities are maintained, both outdoors and indoors. The IT infrastructure is robust with the institutional resource centre equipped with computers, printers, and audiovisual equipment for technology-integrated learning.

Adarsha College of Education offers a variety of teacher training programmes. The college runs the two mentioned core programmes: B.Ed, a two-year full-time course with 100 seats, and D.El.Ed, again a two-year full-time course with 50 allotted seats. 

The college admits students based on merits, considering marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.
