Advanced Technical Training Centre is an autonomous institution, was set up in 1999 at Bardang in Sikkim. Lying on National Highway 10 of Maharashtra this technical institute is spread over approximately 8 acres of land and offers diploma courses in various disciplines of engineering. ATTC is an AICTE approved college to offer quality education in the stream of technical courses. The institute offers a students enrolment capacity of 548 and a faculty of 36 and this creates a niche environment necessary for the enhancement of engineering education. The ATTC has five diploma courses, for which students can study full-time, to give them the range of engineering specialisations.
The Advanced Technical Training Centre has fully equipped learning resources needed in the academic programmes offered to support the students needs. Especially the IT resources of the institute, the there are three equipped computer labs with more than 150 networked PC. The Campus also contains specialised departmental laboratories which allow students practical training and use of concepts learnt. For the comprehensive development of the students, the ATTC possesses sports facilities, a gym, and an auditorium for other related activities such as seminars. To promote learning the institute has a library to facilitate research work before students and staff, it also has a on campus health facility to provide basic health care services. Additional corridors and comfortable dining facilities like a cafeteria as well as facilities for guest accommodation come as additional features to ensure that the environment of learning and development is facilitated appropriately.
All the offered programmes are regular courses without any credits or semester system; ATTC offers a total of 5 full-time diploma programmes with different specialisations such as Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing.

The ATTC runs five full-time diploma programmes across engineering domains. For each of the programmes, the admission procedure is as follows:
Diploma in Civil Engineering entry capacity is 60. Admission is based primarily on performance in relevant subjects, dealing with mathematics and science.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering entry capacity is 60. Performance in the area of mathematics and science is taken into account for admission, but there could also be evaluation of aptitude for the concepts of mechanical engineering.
Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering course intake is 60 seats. Admission considers performance in related subjects during 10+2, i.e. mathematics and physics.
Diploma in Computer Engineering course has 45 seats. Students should have basic knowledge of mathematics and computer science. Admission may consist of logical reasoning and problem-solving assessment.
Diploma in Manufacturing Technology course has an intake of 45 seats. Admission is primarily on the basis of academic records in any engineering-related subjects at the 10+2 level.
