About ARI Pune
Agharkar Research Institute Pune, was established in 1946. The college offers courses at the doctoral level only. ARI Pune Doctoral courses include PhD Bioprospecting, PhD Nano Biosciences, PhD Biodiversity and Palaeobiology, PhD Genetics and Plant Breeding, PhD Bioenergy, and PhD Developmental Biology. ARI Pune is an autonomous university affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
ARI Pune Doctoral admissions are offered in PhD programmes. To the candidates who must have passed the M.Sc. from any branch of biological science or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point, also candidate must have also qualified - CSIR /UGC-Junior Research Fellowship or NET-LS/GATE/SPPU-PET, and a fellowship from ICMR/INSPIRE/DBT. The college provides various facilities to the students. ARI Pune facilities include modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, cafeteria, sports facilities, a well-stocked Library and a healthy studying environment.
