Agricultural College, Bapatla was established in 1945 by the Government of Composite Madras State. The institute is a part of the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University. Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University was earlier called Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU), which was later renamed on July 16, 1964. The Agricultural College is affiliated to Andhra University. In Agriculture College Bapatla, there is no diploma courses. There are only B.sc, M.sc and P.hd courses. Also for doing a diploma course in Agriculture, you first need to complete your class 12 with science stream. There are no diploma courses in agriculture which is offered after passing class 10.
