Ajijur Rahaman College of Education was established in the year 2016. This is one of the affiliated colleges, particularly located in Murshidabad, West Bengal. This college occupies a compact campus of about 1.01 acres, with a total enrollment of 281 students and 29 faculty members. Ajijur Rahaman College of Education is approved by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and is firmly committed to the cause of building up future teachers.

There are a good number of facilities for students to make their learning informative and productive. The library is well-stocked with 3,500 books, and the reading room has a sitting capacity of 30. Ajijur Rahaman College of Education has two major courses, both being two-year programs with full-time modes of delivery. The sanctioned intake capacity for the D.El.Ed., meant for aspiring elementary school teachers, and for the B.Ed. 

The admission process of Ajijur Rahaman College of Education is based on merit by marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The College keeps faith completely with the admission policies framed by the State Government of West Bengal or the affiliating University.
