Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) is a five-year full-time Integrated program in Law offered by Gauhati University, Guwahati with the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI).

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate for admission to the Five-year B.A., LL.B (Hons) course must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or an equivalent examination securing in aggregate not less than 45% of the total marks for general candidates and not less than 40% for SC/ ST candidates.

Admission Details

Admission to the First Semester B.A., LL.B. (Hons) shall be on the basis of an Entrance Examination conducted by the College. Admission will be purely on merit basis. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination, provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Admission Form can be obtained from the College Office. Candidates desiring to appear in the Entrance examination should fill-up the enclosed Application Form and submit the same to the College Office on or before the mentioned last date of submission of Application Forms. Along with the duly filled in Application form, the student should submit 5(five) recent stamp size photographs and 2 self (two) addressed the envelope. They should also obtain their Admit Card / Hall Ticket after submitting their Application forms. The Examination is to be answered in English only. The result of the Entrance Examination and the merit list will be put up in the College Notice Board.
