Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2009 by the Akshaya Charitable Trust, is a distinguished institution in Tamil Nadu dedicated to providing quality technical education. The college is approved by the AICTE. ACET Coimbatore offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in engineering and technology.
At ACET Coimbatore, students can get admissions in one of the eight undergraduate courses available in the BE/BTech programme. The BE/BTech programme include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, BTech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Computer Science and Business Systems. The postgraduate programmes include ME/MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, and Structural Engineering. Additionally, Akshaya College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Anna University and thus provides doctoral programmes in select engineering disciplines.
Admissions to ACET Coimbatore are based on academic merit and entrance exams. For undergraduate programs, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have appeared for TNEA. Postgraduate admissions require a relevant bachelor's degree, and selection is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as on entrance exam performance like TANCET.
