All-India Khilafat Committee College of Education, Mumbai-Byculla East, was established in the year 1989. It accommodates a total of 68 students and has a faculty strength of 14 members. As an affiliated college, it is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education for delivering quality education in teaching. The institute comprises two full-time courses B.Ed and D.El.Ed comprising 64 students for hopeful educators.

All-India Khilafat Committee College of Education has a wide arrangement of facilities designed to upgrade the learning experience of the students. The well-stocked library is considered to be the backbone of the institution, it is stocked with collections of textbooks, reference materials, journals, and electronic resources. Designed for comfortable seating of 50 students in addition to qualified staff to assist students, it provides the ideal research and study atmosphere. For events, the air-conditioned ground floor multipurpose hall is a perfect venue for seminars, conferences, and cultural events, which can accommodate up to 500 people.

Affiliated by University of Mumbai, All-India Khilafat Committee College of Education focuses its curriculum on the two primary courses: B. Ed and D. El. Ed. Both are full-time programmes of two years in duration. Intake capacity 100 students, with equal distribution and 50 seats for both courses. This provision allows the institution to focus on quality teacher education.

To get admission to All-India Khilafat Committee College of Education, a candidate has to go through a merit-based process by acquiring marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admissions to B.Ed are carried out through the state governments, UT administration, and the affiliated university. In the same way, admission to D.El.Ed is conducted under the admission guidelines provided by the state government/UT administration.
