Amiraj College of Engineering and Technology came into existence in 2012. One of the premier institutions in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the college has a campus area of 18 acres near the Tata Nano Plant on Sarkhej-Viramgam Highway and provides four full-time BE programmes to 377 students in total. With a strength of 48 full-time, well-qualified and dedicated faculty members, the college manages to ensure a healthy student-to-teacher ratio which gives scope for much-needed personal attention and culminates in quality education.

Amiraj College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. There are many state-of-the-art facilities in the ACET which have gone to make learning more enriching and holistic in nature for students. One of these is the Library, a very good resource centre with thousands of books, periodicals, and online resources. The institute has 10 workstations, 100 study places, and a social learning area, providing an appropriate environment for individual and group study. Departmental laboratories have been set up on the campus itself, facilitating work and application. The medical room is available, and first-aid kits are placed in ACET round the clock. Sports facilities are also available, along with the auditorium and the cafeteria where fresh food at reasonable rates is provided. Besides this, free WiFi throughout the campus helps students to be updated in this digital world.

Academic Packages under ACET have been tailor-made to suit the constantly changing needs of the engineering world. The college has four BE streams: Stream in Mechanical Engineering, Stream in Electrical Engineering, Stream in Civil Engineering, and Stream in Computer Science Engineering. All these are four-year full-time programmes.

The admission procedure at Amiraj College of Engineering and Technology is such that they are fair and all-inclusive. The college admits most of its students by taking them through the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET), a state-level examination newly introduced for screening aspiring engineers and then enrolling them in different engineering colleges in Gujarat.
