Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Coimbatore was set up in 2003 is a recognised member of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. This co educational institution is however located in Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu and occupies a vast piece of land measuring about 400 acres. The school provides 19 different courses spread across 8 degree programs to satisfy students’ academic needs. New facilities include standard laboratory accommodation, a canteen facility and a 12 bedded hospital with four doctors and 11 nurses available twenty-four hours a day. For the sports souls, the college has an Olympic sized swimming pool and other related amenities.
