It is the branch of dentistry which deals with the treatment of caries, malformed, discoloured, nonesthetic, or fractured teeth and endodontics deals with treatment of pulpal and periapical diseases and dental pain management. The curriculum provides training in the prevention and treatment of the disease and injuries of the hard tissues and the pulp of the tooth and associated periodical lesions.</p><p><span style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 1.6em;">The purpose of the course is to provide advanced education in the subject to highly qualified graduate dentists who are interested in a career of specialized practice, teaching and research.</span></p></div></div>
Eligibility Criteria
B.D.S. degree from a recognized Dental college.
Permanent registration from any of the state Dental Councils after completion of compulsory rotating internship (Those who will complete their Internship by 30th April 2015 are also eligible to apply).
Age limit- maximum 30 years as on 31.12.2015.
Admission Details
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the Amrita Entrance Examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
