36 MonthsThe M. D. S. in Periodontology is a three year Postgraduate program. Periodontics is a branch of dentistry hat deals with diseases of the supporting and investing structures of the teeth including the gums, cementum, periodontal membranes and alveolar bone. The curriculum provides students identify the techniques to prevent the occurrence and cure the spread of damage already casued by the infection
The research scholars are given opportunity to learn and research in this criterion to help the society in health care.
Eligibility Criteria
B.D.S. degree from a recognized Dental college.
Permanent registration from any of the state Dental Councils after completion of compulsory rotating internship (Those who will complete their Internship by 30th April 2015 are also eligible to apply).
Age limit- maximum 30 years as on 31.12.2015.
Admission Details
Selection is based on the rank obtained in the Amrita Entrance Examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
